What a great thing all the insane teabaggers that live in Nevada did by choosing to run Sharron Angle as the GOP candidate to take on the very powerful and very well funded Harry Reid this November. If only the Republican party actually had tangible policy proposals or even some semi-substantive talking points that they could have fed Sue Lowden that could have maybe prevented those incoherent farm-animal-health-care speeches then they’d at least have a candidate that doesn’t belong in a mental ward.

That is not how things went though. And now Sharron Angle is on the television smiling like a lunatic and ranting about how the press won’t ask her the questions she wants to be asked and how they aren’t reporting Sharron Angle News the way Sharron Angle would report on Sharron Angle News, while simultaneously plugging her stupid website and telling people to give her money. Oh well!

Latest foul-up is the last straw for Fox

Over the past couple months Fox News has been airing some things that aren’t exactly accurate. Ok, that sounds a little redundant but these cases are especially bad! The first incident being a slight exaggeration of the size of the crowd at a Michele Bachman rally against healthcare reform. If you missed any of that debacle you can get an excellent summary from this video here by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Mistake two was pretty much the same thing except this time over the size of the crowd at a Sarah Palin book signing. But the thing that made Fox send out this memo to their staff threatening to fire anyone that fudges up again was during a live segment about why the associated press assigned so many fact checkers to Palin’s new book. (really?) It seems they showed the wrong book! Going Rouge, a parody of Palin’s actual book, Going Rogue.
